Farmall H ?

Is it possible to take the rear clamps and rims off of a farmall 300 and bolt the 300 clamps and rims on a farmall H hub? The H has the the stock cast 6 spoke hubs and the 300 has the stock cast 8 spoke hubs with the flat style rims. Thank you.

Trading sideways? I"m curious as to why you"d want to do that? Usual move is to switch from cast wheels to bolt-on hubs with pressed steel wheels for weight saving. If rust is the problem, switch outer rims. Don

If you plan on using the 8 spoke wheels from a 300 with 2-1/2 diameter axle along with rims they will work. If you want to use the double bevel rims and rim clamps on the H wheel, no. H wheel rim clamp bolts are around a half inch closer to center of wheel than 8 spoke wheels. Also clamps won't work right on edge of H wheel and only one lug to keep rim from sliping on wheel would come close to line up.

We can not run 9 bolt cause we have to run our original cast hubs to pull in our antique class. Reason I want to run the 300 rim is we have a few sets with tires on them and we do not even have one set of h rims. I guess I was trying to save some money.
