What is the H doing that makes you things you need a clutch? Slipping &/or grabbing can be caused by other things.

It"s really pretty simple if you have some basic tools and know how. You have to split the tractor and roll it apart. You"ll need jacks and a lift and blocks for sure.

This is a basic description of the process.
IT assumes the clutch is adjusted with one inch of free play at the pedal to platform, and it slips when pulling. If not, tell us for a better diagnosis.

It is not necessary to split the tractor!

Remove the access plate under the tractor (behind the cast projection with the holse with slots. This will reveal the Liftall Drive shaft and couplings. Remove the cotter pins from the coupling and remove the shaft.

Remove the oil from the Liftall pump. it is the plug in the casting mentioned above. 6 gallons might be in it.

Remove the elbow fittings that go in from the outside (one on the right two on the left)

Remove the Liftall control lever arm.

Remove the liftall fill cap and dip stick.

Using a floor jack, and or the ready rod system shown in the archives photo for removing a Liftall, remove the bolts and lower it to the floor (heavy akward and topheavy (two people min)

Remove the Transmission drive shaft (clutch shaft) by taking pictures of the way it is assembled then taking it apart.

Take three bolts out of the pressure plate at 120 degrees (skip every other one)
and put these bolts into the three holes in the back of the pressure plate to release the clutch tension from the driven disk.

(some clutch plates might not have these)
weasel out the clutch shaft it does come out it is a geometry problem.
Remove the throwout bearing assembly and then the Pressure plate 3 remaining bolts. (remove in stages if the clutch does not have the bolt holes to collapse it.)

Reach in and remove the driven disk.

Remove the pilot bearing.

Reinstall all new parts as determined to be needed. Put TriFlow spray on the splines of the shaft before assembly to help the splines remain free.

You will need some illustrations. I recommend a manual, or a trip to the library with dimes to photocopy the process from the manuals there.

the clutch is like stuck and will not engage. was fine when i parked it indoors went back 4 days later tractor clutch stuck. push in clutch pedal its not working.can start in gear drive all around with pedal pushed down will not stop. pulled bottom plate bearing gos up to plate but does not push it in to release it

If the fingers move inward with the throwout bearing, but it does not release, it may be just stuck to the plate. driving around in 2nd or third with the clutch pushed, and hitting the brakes off and on to shock it might make it free up. Many block down their clutch pedal to keep it from sticking like that. If the fingers are not being pushed in, it is either badly out of adjustment, or the Throwout bearing is toast, or the fingers have broken.
All but the driving around and adjustment need the clutch taken out as I described. JimN
