Neighbor has an H and wanted me to look at it, wants to sell it. 1 new rear tire 12X38 on it other bad, 2 front ones fair tread but has cracks in them, engine stuck, got about 1/2 inch water from oil pan. Tree had fell on it and broke tower for the steering and where gages are, no battery, tin work really good as the steering tower took all the tree damage, brakes seem good, rims are really good. What is this worth, just need a ball park price. Thanks Don c

In my opinion, if you gave $100 you would be more than generous.

Don,I went to a junk auction,3 weeks ago and a H with no tires thats been sitting out side for 20 years brought 450 for parts.so you never know

I sort of agree with Dellbertt @$100. But, then, if you really want it, you don't have to go look at a bunch of them. Also, in this case there is virtually no expense in retreiving it. So, I might say up to $250.

I do not know what tractor is worth but if rear rims are good to exelent they are worth more than $100 as well as lots of other $50+ parts. Scrap price is down but tractor will still bring well over $200 for scrap.

Live in western PA.
Also starter wrap that covers brushes is gone and it rusted. Is this a 6 volt and pos. ground. system, as there is no battery.

I think the up to $250 is a good figure. I see running H's here go for $800. Depends on how bad he wants it gone and how bad you want a project.
