the steering on my Farmall M was getting tighter and tighter.
About fifteen or so years ago I took apart the steering system and cleaned everything out and regreased the bearings.
The thrust bearing was not in too bad shape considering it probably hasn't been serviced in a many a years. Did have some grease in it.
This past week I serviced it again. I cleaned everything out and regreased the thrust bearing. The bearing had some grease in it.
My question is by greasing the front zert will grease be pushed up to the thrust bearing? I can'y see how.
