Would it be possible to put a ta in a regular farmall m ?

Since you would have to replace most of the tractor from the flywheel back there would not be much left of the original tractor.

Funny. The engineers at IH asked themselves this very same question over 60 years ago. Probably while huddled around the coffee machine. Then the napkins and pens came out..... The rest is history.

I bet some of them probably even said the same thing. "Why would you want to?"

Anything is possible...But,NO. You would have to replace the entire back end,from the clutch all the way back.

I have been wanting to do the same thing. To answer the question of why, I would like to have the slower gears of an M with a TA to split them. I pull a stock class at 3.5mph and it would give me more gears to choose from.

MW only adds 4 more gears between 4th/5th.Does nothing to 'lower' any gear.You need to find a special LOW (slow speed) first gear set
