Howdy everyone, I have a 1944 Farmall M. I have a nice set of tall 4" firecrater pistons and an 8060 head to install over the winter. It currently makes 45hp on a dynamometer What should it be making with the fire crater pistons and 8060 head? I use the tractor regularly so I won't want to go any farther than this for power.

Thanks, that'll be good enough for me. I have a 12V distributor in the shed, but currently I have a really good mag on it. New hot coil and points. Thanks for the replies.

I own a 1940 M equipped 4" flat top pistons. Tractor is pretty much worn out but still runs good. It will produce 46 horsepower on a dyno.
