Trying to track down an M. Was traded to Comstock Implement in Rockford Illinois in 1973. Only distinguishing feature that I can remember was there was a Angle Iron Bracket welded to the light bar on the right side. I know this is worst than a needle in a hay stack, but doesn't hurt to ask? Anyone with knowledge, Please reply.

Thanks

a gentelman from vandelia bought a m from rockferd back in the early 90's it had a angle iron bracket holding on the right headlight and the taillight on the back was off of an oliver could this be yours it was a 51-53 m

Was the angle iron holding the light on or just welded to the light tube next to the light on the right side? From what I remember the angle iron was along the light bar and stuck out in front of the light. I do not remember a back light, but it could have been added. Do you know of a contact or where he bought it? Thanks

I worked with a Comstock at Dairyland Seed in Clinton that was a huge International fan. He farmed on the west side of Rockford IIRC. I wonder if he had anything to do with the dealer???

the angle iron was holding the light on, the gentelmen has passed away but the grill had a screan brazed on it where the grill insert is supost to go he said he bought it from a guy in rockford he said it was a lot smaller back then under 5000 people is my guess, but the bar was not welded to the light bar so it might not be your tractor

Comstock Implement was on the West Side of Rockford. Just off Meridian Road on West State Street. Does this fellow still farm on the West Side of Rockford?

Thanks
