Farmall Super A-1

How many of the super a-1 tractors are known to still exist. I know there were 1672 made, but out of those how many can still be left? I came across one a few years back and had the opportunity to buy it. I just always wondered how many are left. Mine is the only one I ever saw in person. I have seen photos of some online but thats it.

No way to tell for sure.i would say maybe 3 %. So about 50, this is just my opinion !

I dont know the answer but would like to know what the difference is between a Super A and a Super A-1 thanks

The Super A-1 was almost a model 100 with earlier style sheet metal. It had the 123 ci engine with water pump and taller pressurized radiator. The grill, hood, and fuel tank were taller due to the radiator (like the Super C).

I have seen 4 and owned 3 of them . The dealer here said he had 8 and had to give them away in 55

I'll see your 3% and raise you 5%. So my guess is 8% are left.

The reality is there is no way to even make an educated guess. Even today where many of the old barns have been pillaged for their "barn finds" there are still thousands out there sitting untapped.

Probably 1300. Those tractors are not scrapped much and there's a lot of them still in use. I know of at least 5 in my neighborhood.
