Is number 251172-r2 for a 113 farmall engine. Cylinder head came off 1952 farmall super a with 3.000 bore

So whats the problem is the cast code on the head close to whats on the tractor.

This is information i got from seller,so before i buy wanted to know if this is correct cylinder head for farmall super a with 3.000 bore.

I don't think that is a good number. Maybe he misread 251173-R2, which is one of more than a half dozen numbers that were on Super A heads. If so, it is the second version gasoline head.

If the head is off of a Farmall Super A, it should fit the C113 Engine. Any head from an A, B, BN, C, Super C, 100, 130, 140, 200, 230, or 240 (maybe others too) will fit. A lot of the parts are interchangeable.

I actually have a 240 head on my Super A, put it on for the smaller combustion chamber. Just have to watch the later heads from engines with water pumps, I believe they have smaller water ports. I added the water pump to my tractor anyways so it wasn't an issue.
