I"m lookin got headgaskets and maybe a rebuild kit and cant find any, can find alot for the C113. Can any one send me in a direction. Also lookin for all specs, like HP, and all that type thing, Thanks

Post over on the Farmall Board, sounds like you might have a Super A-1. Should have an engine serial # stamped on a flat spot on the block, below but in front of #1 spark plug hole in the head. Use a steel brush to remove paint & accumulated gunk, it'll be there. It won't be the same as the chassis serial #, but will probably be close. The serial plate is (was) on the seat support (left one as you sit on the tractor if my memory serves me right) and should begin with the prefix FAA or FAA-1 followed by a six-digit number. If you find it, you can use the "Serial Numbers" link under "Research and Info" section over to the left of this site to determine the year. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Try this website (www.yesterdaystractor.com) under Super A1 or Super AV1.

**Head Gasket Kit - Upper gasket set with head gasket. For C123 CID gas 4 cylinder engine on tractors: Super A-1 & AV-1 sn 310300 & up, Super C~ 100 & 200. For 400, 450, M, MD, MDV, MV, SUPER M, SUPER MD, SUPER MTA, SUPER W6, SUPER WD6, W400, W450, W6TA. (Part No: 357476R95) $31.08

The Super A-1 used the C123 engine, instead of the C113 used in the Super A. There were no decals or other markings to indicate the larger engine, but the prefix on the serial number plate changed from FAA to FAA-1.

ANY real auto parts store with someone beyond the zit-faced stage with a Fel-Pro or Victor catalog can get you the gaskets, likely overnight.

I'm tired and a bit cranky tonight or I'd grab my catalog and post the numbers to make it REAL easy for them.

Somebody here posted a while b ack that there was 2 different head gaskets for A and one would make it heat up. Check real good. Something about a hole that is present on one of them.
