Farmhand F10

Does anyone have pictures of a F10 on a Ford 8N or 9N or a early 50's Ferguson.I've heard it's been done;but it would be a load for these little machines.

WOW that is a lot of leverage on that little tractor. Bet needs a lot of weight on the rear.

This is the Farmhand F10 as I know it...And it takes a 75 hp tractor to handle it.

Thanks for those pictures, I have never seen an F 10 on a little ford before. My dad and grandpa used F 10's for 40 years before we switched to front end loaders, you just cant beat those old cage loaders for weight distribution and the ability to lift a lot with a small tractor.

We had one an a WC Allis. Never had any extra weights on back, but if you had a load of hay, and hit a gopher mound, it would lay on its side.
I have seen them on everything from the 8N to a 1370 Case.

My grandpa and uncle had one on an 8n and stacked square bales with it. It had wider front tires on it....I remember wondering how that tractor survived with that big loader on it. The farmed over 600 acres with 3 8n's and a WC Allis that never had the cornpicker taken off of it.

I was thinking the same thing. I think I would add about 5000lbs on the rear. Can't believe how high it will lift too. At least looking at the pictures you could load a second story window!

I've a older F10 that I took of a 255mf that is considerably smaller than the F 10 D that I have on a M IH. the arms on the F10D are at least 18" longer the old F10 wore out two tractor before being put on the 255

On the computer I have a picture of someone using an F10 to lift the front of a loaded grain truck at the auger. Must not have gotten the truck with a lift. I saved the picture just because of the distance my jaw dropped open when I saw it.

Do you know or have a further explanation for the "New Method" name and the "SSC" letters? I've never seen them before in anything to do with Farmhand.

What’s the problem when the loader bucket settles down on an F10?
Basically no leaks and the cylinder has been rebuilt…….. thanks
