A while back during summer, I posted some pictures of the equipment I was using to farm roughly 33 acres of land I rented. A lot of progress has been made since then. Harvest went relatively well. I was away at college and unable to come back to run the combine or take any pictures, so my dad took some. The all crop 60 was able to harvest around 15 acres without much trouble. Unfortunately, the weather was not going to cooperate long enough to allow the all crop to finish on its own. My uncle came to the rescue with his modern combine equipped with a 25 ft grain head. All in all, 1375 bushels were stored in the grain tank in the top of our corn crib. After seven trips to the elevator pulling the 200 bu. gravity wagon with my pick up truck all of the soybeans were sold, and have made a healthy contribution to my college tuition.
I've attached some new pictures as well as some old ones.
