Fast hitch question

Hey there, looking at a super c. It has a fast hitch on the back. I know where I can get a couple fast hitch inserts out of a 460. Will these work with the super c ? If so I was wanting to weld these to an old blade, and convert it to fast hitch? Thanks for any info given. LH

There are to sizes of fast hitch hook ups so you need to look close at them. If I remember right the Super C used the small one where as the 460 would have the big ones. So the ones your thinking about welding on would not fit the Super C hitch

Unless you plasma torched off the bottom to make them the correct "tallness" Jim

I tend to not like modifying thing in that way due to the fact it makes something good and then devalues if a good bit

I have done similar for a few attachments for my super c. The only difference is the 460 has taller prongs. Its pretty simple to cut them shorter. If you torch them off leave them a little big and use a big grinder to finish them off. They will look better and slide in and out of the hitch better.

I'd rather adapt unused stuff to work with my tractor then to see it sit around with no one using it until some scrapper gets a hold of it.

Agreed, but when in need and shipping costs as much as the part, do it, or have some made. Jim
