FATAL TRACTOR ROLLOVER ACCIDENT YESTERDAY

A Huron County young man was killed yesterday in a rollover accident as the Oliver Tractor he and his grandfather were pulling with a trailer of firewood and a log splitter lost traction and rolled into a ditch. The 18 year old youth was pinned underneath the weight of the machines and it took rescuers several minutes to free him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Sad.

I could see it happening in just a few seconds. We all know how quickly a pair of tires will slide sideways when spinning.

Yes, it is very sad he was only 18 too. I first heard the story on the local Detroit station, WJR, that morning at first and they said he was cutting firewood with his grandfather and figured it was another flipover due to incorrect pulling of logs.
