Ferguson TO 35 dash removal

I want to replace two of the gauges in my TO 35 and to simplify the project I would like to remove the “dash board”. I have the steering wheel free but cannot figure out how to detach the throttle lever from the rest of the mechanism.

One more question related to gauges, specifically the tach. In cold weather, the tach bounces crazily until the tractor warms up. I’m suspect corrosion or lack of lubricant in the cable.

Thanks, Phil

My 1960 MF 35 has an oil plug on the Tractormeter. I don't think is visible until the meter is removed from the dash.
