Fergusson Disc Plough Spring

Hi Guys,
I am looking for the size and specification of the coil spring used on the rear furrow wheel of a two furrow Fergusson Disc Plough I am restoring.
It is the only part that I am missing.
The serial number for my plough is P50167 and it is the model with a coil spring in this part not a leaf spring.
If I can get a suitable replacement for the real spring that would be great.
I took it to our club's recent vintage harvest festival for some ploughing and it was the only disc plough present. They were commonly used by local vegetable growers 30+ years ago, but no longer.

Don, what is the model # of your plow.

I have the orginal owners manual for the disc plow with the leaf spring,

I have seen a few pictures of the later disc plows with the improved springs but have never seen a parts manual.

have you tried plowing with it.

I have a plow like that, except for the paint job, everything is the same. There is a leaf spring on my plow. That plow will cut anything that the Ferguson 35 can drive over. I had rather plow with it than anything I have.
Congrads on the plow rebuild, it looks nice.
Good Luck

Maxwell, you have done a good job with restoring that plough. Yours is the leaf spring model. Mine uses a coil spring. See photos. I have found some difficulty in getting information as to date I do not have a handbook, have been unable to find a parts diagram and been unable to date the plough.
I have started stripping it down and found inside the main tube the spanner for the large bearing nuts on the back of the disc, still stowed in the correct place.
I have met an Australian who has a three furrow example of the same plough.
I hope to restore it to the same condition as your plough, Maxwell.
