Finally back into the loop.

Well, Lost TW Road Runner service back Sat. afternoon. Had a series of T Storms that raised havoic in the area. We lost power twice, but came back on in a short time. Dish Network had total loss of signal many times Sat. evening. My wind turbine took a direct hit in the back yard. Local country radio station finally came back on the air just after noon today and TW cable came back up about 3:00 this afternoon.
I'm finally back on YT.
Had pics ready to post of the completion of the Case 831C tractor Sat.,that I have been refurbishing.
So 2 days later, here they are, before and after.

The 831 looks great Loren. I've been following your progress on it and it turned out really nice. You don't see any of the larger Case tractors from that era here in my part of the country. There are still quite a few of the 530's around and from time to time I still see one. I may be a Ford collector but I always have liked the Case tractors

You did a beautiful job, Loren.

I really like pic #2 with the good closeup of the tractor and the Clintoncamp barn/silos in the background.

Didn't you see the first pic??? Same tractor, as following pics. The crappy Curtis weather break and ugley duckling Oliver fenders and the wide front were all replaced with parts off other Case tractors to make it what it is in the last pics.

Those Cases have the nicest colour scheme of any tractor. There is a 930 Comfort King down the road on which I have first dibs when it goes up for sale.....sigh...Ben

Very nice looking tractor. Friend of mine has one that could be a twin to yours. He also changed from a wide to a narrow front. He uses it to haul hay wagons and on the haybine at times. Just saw his run yesterday and it runs really nice.

I went by headed east Sat afternoon. I stayed ahead of the storm until around Milford NH. The weather warning came on warning of possible flooding ahead of me. That storm was moving very fast with pretty much constant lightning.

Awesome job on the tractors and is that your farm too as in the herd that bred Clinton-Camp
Majesty? Was a very popular bull around these parts at one time!

Great looking tractors! I remember a bull I bet from your farm was very popular around this area awhile back, everyone loved their Majesty daughters from what I remember

Used to see a lot of Majesty descendants in my travels with DHI here in Eastern Ontario back in the 80s and 90s.

Loren, beautiful job with the tractor and great photos of a spectacular setting! I really enjoyed them not to mention your update posts along the way.

Yes he sure did,not much I do remember but soon as I read a prominent farm name I can usually think of a few great animals that were born there. The downside of genomics today to me is that the bloodlines change so quickly now the farms and cow families don't really have have the brand impact like they used to. They become popular because of the numbers and next round they're pushed so far down the list they're forgotten about as quickly as they became popular. Not saying it's not a positive evolution but I do miss the days when a good bull came out you used him heavily until his second crop proof than if it stuck you'd keep some in your tank until he was no longer available.
