Finally fixed my limp hose

Bought a swivel which solved the hose kinking problem. The hose on my other tank never did kink off like this new hose did .

Grip hose clamps are definitely on my worst buy list proving again that all parts are not created equal

Yes, the elcheapo hose clamps are to be avoided. Last I knew Lowe's and HD were still selling good ones amd if you buy them by the bag the price is less.

They're not that expensive. Depends where you get them. Even horror freight has them. The link is the ones we used at work. Start at about $2,00. Stainless, 13/16 to 1-3/4, 9/16 wide is 2.60
Clamp

Nice job
I was wondering about the swivel until I realized that gas stations use those too.
Way back when building trucks, we used tons of worm clamps and constant torque clamps and at that time they were all U.S.A. made. Probably not the case today ?

There are better clamps that are Chinese just a lot
higher quality clamp . Same store has the better
clamps I needed two clamps for the job two of the
better clamps 2.50$ each the whole grip set was only
6$ I knew they might not be great quality but for the
price and the job they needed to I figured Id chance it
and see how junky the grip clamps really were

Just a bit overkill yes. They are for high pressure and
they work good on turbo charged air pipes and such
sprayer hoses on big modern sprayers
