Finally green grass

Finally the green grass of Spring. This is same location i posted a pic. of my 8N last year sitting in hay field but this time i am looking South over farm. Still no garden planting and rain for next five days.

I am already picking lettuce and radishes and have onions etc doing just fine. I do need to mow the lawn but it is just way to wet to do so. But this weather has been very good for the moral mushrooms and I fried up around 40 of them yesterday

Well its supposed to be up in the 90s later this week here in N California - ran the irrigation system to check for leaks this afternoon! If this is anything to go by its going to be a long hot and dry summer here.
