Finally Moved the 730

Dad sold the first farm year ago, we moved all the equipment to the house in Houston and to friend's farms. Well this is the last thing that needed to be moved. Since I'm working by myself after Dad past, I just called the rollback to move it.

This thing was last running about 5 years ago, and running badly. The carb wasn't right, the distributor cap was held on with bailing wire and duct tape and I'm pretty sure it's out of time.

Also has a bad tire, but sheetmetal isn't all gone yet and it's been holding that front end loader up off the ground for as long as it's been sitting.

Now just have to tear into it and see how bad it really is, it sure looks bad.....

I don't know...any time you can save a Case tractor I think it looks pretty good! It will be a nice tractor when it's up and running. My old 930 baling tractor looks about like the 730 but pretty don't pull the load. Good tractors!

That ole gal is worth fixing. because it was your fathers its worth the time and effort . good luck

Chances are a carb kit, a little cleaning on the fuel system, cap, rotor, points and plugs and it's be fine. The old Cases are pretty simple and tough.

BTW- Up here that tractor wouldn't even start to be considered "bad" looking!

Yeah it's a pretty tough machine, I think the worst thing is that tire.

It didn't break the bead rolling up the truck, the tire just disintegrated.

Would look great next to the 930, my 930 looks nice, but not as nice as that 1030

You rarely see a tractor of any make in this area that looks anything close to that 1030 that hasn't been restored. That would bring a premium in my area.
