Finally split for clutch job

As I suspected, there is no grease hose from the factory. This non-greaseable bearing is toast. Later model 445s had greaseable ones listed in the parts books but not from 1956 book. Might change the throw out bearing holder, yoke and cross shafts with clutch pedal to a greaseable bearing. Will have to cut threads in the hole for the grease hose as there are none on the inside, just the outside, which seems odd lol.

I did that on one of my tractors. I think it was my White 2-105. Whichever one it was, I remember I cut the corner out of the inspection cover and used a flex grease gun hose. I slid a piece of rubber hose down over it where it goes through that cover.

I bet if you put it back with a non-greasable bearing exactly what it has now it will last the rest of your life.

I thought the same thing lol. I just use it for cutting and raking hay and a few other odd jobs.
