First 664 IH?

I found a 664 IH for sale. The serial number is 2501. Is this the first one made in 72” if so any idea of its value? It’s in need of a lot of TLC but mostly all there. Thanks for any help.

Hello Mtomes, welcome to YT! Too bad it isn’t a machine with green and yellow paint. Those guys like to fork out big bucks for 1st of the run units. For an IH it might make it worth $500 - $1000 more than a normal SN machine. Probably hit the higher end of that spread if it was all fixed up.

Thank you. That helps a lot. I am very familiar with Fords but not IHs. I didn’t think it was a big barn find but needed your guys to reassure me. I appreciate you replying.
