hey folks,something interesting happened yesterday,I picked up an IH cub lo boy 184 for mowing and plowing around the place,and as soon as we got it off the trailer,we adjusted a couple things and took it for a spin mowing around some pine trees,and lo and behold I found a deer antler in my front tire,went completely flat right where it was sitting,but if it had to happen,i am glad it was the front tire with the tube in it.have any of you guys every had something like this happen?

I bought a quad runner, brought it home, and took it out for test ride, and jammed a tree branch that was hidden behind weeds right thru a tire. Mark.

Had that very thing happen while plowing in the spring of 82. It was in the right front tire. Far better than the back tire. RB

We have a collection of deer antlers that we collected in rear tractor tires while picking corn.

happened to my Dad at the deer lease. a bigger antler than any we saw on live deer. got a front tire in the tread AND the side wall

Month old 18.4 x 38 radials.....dealer was able to vulcanize a repair.

rt rear tire on my 240 international utility. loaded with calcium chloride. bush hogging and put an antler right thru the sidewall. ruined the tire.

I have a couple guys that antler hunt my hay land early spring like right now,they have probably saved me a lot of $$$$ over the years.

The guy that deer hunts my place usually come out in the spring to look for sheds. I found a couple but I never thought to check the fields. Thanks for the idea. Saw something new yesterday, a pair of sandhill cranes in the field. They've shown up in Geauga County the last four or five years.

I have seen deer with antlers around here. Though I have never seen a set or even part of one in the field or else they never have got in a tire. Not sure which. May be all the deer that hang around here are polled. LOL
