Fixing paint job

Mistakes make for better quality paint jobs in the future . Cost more . I have sure made some duesyes .
Im older and wearing proper ppe I just can’t see the pattern on a radius’s of car inside do hardware for example. It look great , it dried , I can see orange peel .ugh ! I waited thre to four days dry sanded with 600 w/d paper and vacuum away to keep paper from loading. I repainted with below again . I slowdown flow on practice board. repaint turn out actual great. Got the pattern and coverage much better . It spread and flowed out very nice. I ask at the paint shop ,they said it was pretty good.
I used a touch up gun 35 psi , hvlp
Slow down ,good lighting, watch the paint spread out and lay down , I’m not a pro ,I paint once in five years. So I make mistakes.
This time the painting mistakes were minimal do to this quality paint. Overjoyed with the quality results the second time.
This paint I got cost a lot , but makes rookies look very very good.
I also feel painting tractors make for the skills needed to be an excellent painter,

make sure you get that 3m respirator tight to the face, don’t need to breathe it in around the nose of the mask

Good to hear , I got two more to get silver and ivory . Huge difference and weight is lifted off me in application. Been blessed ,low humidity, good temperature, zero wind

I use cheap 2K urethane. It costs about 3x what the old school Alkyd enamel implement paint costs, but it is only 1/3 the cost of regular automotive paint. It sure is a lot easier to get it to work properly than the Alkyd enamel!
