Flash Times

I was wondering if someone could further my understanding of Flash Times. If the spec sheet suggests around 15 minutes. How much leeway is there. Since this is my first time I am sure I won"t be rushing it but How "late" is bad, or how can you tell your too late? Thanks!

You can recoat when the paint becomes tacky. Depending on the temperature that can be 5-15 minutes for QUALITY paint. If you find a spot you missed when you think you are done, you can apply another coat.

I will be using PPG Omni. So if I take 30 min after starting to lay down the second coat that will be ok or do I need to re-coat right at/around the flash time? Thanks as always everyone"s knowledge is appreciated.

There is no need to wait 30 minutes -- about 10 is ok at normal temperatures. Waiting 30 probably won't hurt anything, but it doesn't help either. Just mix enough paint to put on 3 coats. With Omni that is 3 full coats, you do not need a lighter first coat. Don't be concerned if the first coat does not cover everything, that will be taken care of in the next two coats.
