flat front tire

Help! - front tire went flat overnight and their calling for more snow! - My question(s), does it have a tube? Parts list says so but not sure. Minimal weather checking and monies won't support new tire. Is there a tube available for a Std issue 3-rib 4x19 tire?

Yes, will have a tube. Some folks use 19" motorcycle tires so I"d say tube should not be hard to find.

When that happened to me I just went to Wal Mart and got a gallon
of slime and put half of it in one. Hadn't had any problem since.
That was two years ago.

Just remember, something made that tire go flat. So find the nail or whatever before you put a new tube in. Anyhow, by the sound of your question it seems maybe your best bet would be to take the whole wheel to a tire shop and have it fixed. Saves having to patch a brand new tube two or three times. Respectful suggestion.

Maybe so. But I'm growing the best crop of Black Locust you ever seen. Without that in there I would be working on flats all the time. I've got 12 plys on the back. They hold up pretty well against the thorns. The slim does the job up front.

You can figure ANY tractor made before say 1970 will have tubes in all the tires. As for a flat again any good tire shop will be able to fix it for you. Me I do my own but I also have worked that the tire shops so doing them is child's play to me

For tractor use (it ain't NASCAR!), a patch properly placed on the tube is all you need. If you do it yourself, it is less than $1.00 worth of stuff, and about 1 hour for somebody new to this task. If you ever patched a bicycle tire, then you know the proceedure. It is the same, but with a little bigger and thicker patch. I'd be glad to teach you how if you live near enough to come over.
