Float Mode - Workmaster

I must be blind because I can't find it in my manual.

How do I put a newer New Holland Workmaster tractor's loader into "float"mode so I can clear snow, etc.? Mine is a 2023 WM120 with the factory loader/bucket. Pushing down on the yoke just lifts the front of the tractor off the ground. There is no "detent".

You have the Operator's manual and know your valve is supposed to have a float position on the lift spool? You may be stopping at the detent, push it forward hard. They can be stiff getting past the detents, on a new valve that has not been put into float often. How long have you had it and have you ever put it into Float in the past? You might have to take the float detent section on the backend of the spool apart and clean/lube it, if it has gummed up from not being used.

My older 75 you push up for the bucket to go down. Push harder and it moves up into float mode.

There is a little clamp deal spring loaded that has to be turned one way or the other to allow float mode I think?

Likely your newer bigger model has a very different joystick for the loader so this probably is worthless to you.

I found a loader manual inside the open cross tube of my 2013 model, I bought the tractor 2 years ago. The manual was in pretty good shape considering it may have been hidden there all it’s life… I assume the controls are in the loader manual more so than the tractor manual?

Maybe try a search for your loader model…
