I am working on a float ride seat and have a couple of questions. Is the shock absorber painted black or green? One of the rubber springs needs regluing to the metal backing. What is a good glue to use? Thank you very much for your suggestions. Randy
 
Yeah, really no way to glue the springs. Sounds like someone already installed some cheap Chinese torsion springs for you and they ripped out. You can get some USA made springs for a few more dollars than the Chinese and they usually seem to perform a bit better.
