Fluids for AC B

What type of oil, and transmission fluid should I use? What oil filters fit?

For the engine 10w-30 for all season oil.
Filter Fram P-159
Transmission 20w non-detergent motor oil {Factory} or the new universal hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Also the NAPA 7011 or the Wix 57011 oil filter.
Same exact filter.
I think the Fram P-159 will be the best priced one. The NAPA one is around $18.00.

Just a note, Most auto oils have reduced zinc and phosphorus in them. Cam and lifter protection.
Valvoline Racing Oil 10w-30 has both extra zinc and phosphorus. Same price as regular 10w-30.
The racing oil does have a little less detergent in it. I mix 2 quarts regular Valvoline 10w-30 with 2 quarts Valvoline Racing 10w-30 oil.
That way the engine get"s some extra zinc and phosphorus along with detergent.

ALL these old tractor have oil bath air filters so all you do pretty much is change the oil in them and go unless they are real bad then you have to remove and clean them in a tub of gas

please!!! dont use a tub of GAS!!!, diesal fuel or let it soak in a tub of Dawn dish washing liquid and water soulation. several soakings with a good rence between. good luck, d.coleman

Can gear oil be used in tranny/hydraulics? Thought I read in the old manual 80 wgt.
