Flywheel thickness

Does anyone know the minimum thickness a flywheel can be before its junk on the ford 4 and 6 cylinder tractors. I have a bunch that need machined but some have already been done several times. And is the hub of them able to be machined too

What vintage tractors are you asking about? They made 4 cylinder tractors almost every year from 1939 through they stopped calling them Fords in the 1990's, but they changed engine designs several times over the years. The N series made from 1939-1952 was one design (actually 2 if you count the change to the side mounted distributor). The 1953-1964 tractors used a different engine design. Then the 1975+ (5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx) series used a completely different 4 cylinder engine design, and I believe they changed the specs on the various 1975+ models over the years slightly as well. The diesels might have different specs from the gassers as well, but I'm not sure. The 6 cylinder tractor engines were pretty much all one design, with the exception of the 6000 that was made from 1961-1966. The rest were made in the 1968+ time frame and the specs might have changed over the years for those as well.
