Ford 1510 block issue

I have a Ford 1510 with a 3 cylinder shibaura engine, that is down, the rod went through the block. doing research this was a common problem for this tractors.
seeing if the bell housing would marry up to another engine (gas or diesel). any options would be helpful. i was looking at Yanmar, Mitsubishi, etc.
thanks in advance for the help.
