I don't know much about them, but tractordata says they were made from '87 to 2000, and they were 32hp engines with 29hp at the pto. They were made in Japan by Shibaura for Ford/New Holland. From what I have heard some of the Japanese Fords can be hard to get parts for, but I don't know if that's one of those or not.

Parts are available from New Holland dealer, if you can afford them. Not much available elsewhere. I have a 1500. Dealer wanted 420 bucks for the brakes shoes. I sent them off and had them them relined for 100. Water pump was 375.00,I had mine rebuilt for 90.00. They are good tractors, tough as nails, but if they break down, they are very expensive to repair.

I have one great tractor, and I am also an auctioneer and have seen them sell 4x4 with a loader for $8000 to $10000 it just depends on where you are located,I have found that parts are no problem.

Thanks guy's,,,,boy i may pass on this one i need readily available parts that wont break the bank..

Ive used one to load manure and till the garden.Nice tractor, easy starting. All parts are high now.Ive heard that Kubota parts are sky high.

They're good tractors. Parts should not be a problem to obtain for that one but will be expensive... but everything today is expensive. Price is reasonable. Hours are on the higher side and you've also got to look hard at them to see what's wrong. The fact that this one has 5400 hours suggests it worked commercially somewhere rather than as someone's yard tractor... so the fact that they're moving it could suggest it needs some work... Look it over closely.

I have a 1715 good tractor but parts are expensive water pump with gaskets $200. I gave $8200 for mine 6 years ago. Had 257 hours on it is a 96 mod.

Thanks Rod yea the hrs have me worried too i see it needs front tires and who knows what else, haven't looked at it yet.

i had one.. mine was a 1997 model.. 4wd, 12x9 tranny. was an awesome machine. traded it in on my 7610s.. wish I would have paid the difference.

at 5000 hours it's likely ready for a clutch.. but if it's been otherwise well maintained.. it should be a good machine.

It's a good tractor, the pictures look decent. I have seen them totally hammered, but they still work. I agree with others, look closely because of the hours, but if it has been maintained, you might be fine. Honestly, you don't buy much in a 4wd tractor for $4500 these days. The rear tires look good, that is worth something right there. We have a 2120 and (knock wood) have not found parts that far out, and so far everything we needed has been available.
