About to buy a Ford 2000 Gas engine tractor. Does not come with a battery. What size and category battery do I need?

Is it a pre-1965 4 cylinder 2000 or a 1965+ 3 cylinder 2000. If it is the earlier 4 cylinder 2000, is the electrical system the original 6 volt system, or has it been converted to 12 volts?
