ford 2000 front wheels

I'm looking to change to light truck tires on front of tractor and get away from 3 rib. Is there a different wheel to buy or can I put tires on existing wheels. The wheels on the tractor now look narrow.

You can buy new implement wheels that have the correct bolt pattern. They are 6 on 6".
Pay attention to the offset. That is the location of the center part in the rim. Get one with the correct offset so the wider tires don't rub your spindles. Your tire man should know what you need and could get them for you.
Another option is to go to a bone yard and buy some used rims from a 5000/7000 size Ford.
Bolt pattern will be identical and they will be wider.
I have bought two sets of implement rims for my tractors. Not cheap. The set I bought last fall were $218 out the door for the pair stems included.
A couple of advantages to implement rims are you can run them tubeless which saves a couple of bucks and fix a flat with a tire plug without taking them off the tractor.
And by going wider you set yourself up for a lifetime supply of free or cheap used tires.
Here are a couple photos of mine after I painted them and put some free tires on.

You can reverse your rims and put them on, or better get a set of rims for a 5600/7600 that are wider, but still will have to reverse them or buy implement rims. 5600 rims can be purchase from any a & I dealer for about $50 give or take.

You have to reverse the ford rims so the fat tire does not rub the spindle. Truck tires are great for front end loader tractors so they dont sink in loose soil. Also good for sugar sand fields where more floatation is needed.
