Ford 2000 light switch location.

I bought a ford 2000 sos with the 4 cyl engine. The wiring was really hacked when I got it with a push button up by the gauges for starting and a toggle switch
just hanging by the wires. Where was the key switch and starter button and light switch located originally?

Key switch on left side of steering cowl. Light switch was located on right side of cowl. You should be able to see the holes for them. Starter button is on the shift cover of tranny. Maybe someone has pics for you.

I know the start button is on the transmission on a geared transmission but is it also that way on a select o speed

Dad's 4000 SOS the start button was on the right side under the side of the hood same area as the light switch. Dad lost his right arm. We moved the starter button to the left side. There was already a hole in the same location as the right side.
