Ford 2000 Power Steering

I have a 1965 -68, Ford 2000 diesel tractor with power steering. The tractor was brought to me with the steering disassembled. I am replacing the 'valve assembly' and can not find any directions in the I&T book regarding which power steering line goes to the valve port with the 'check valve' installed. I would think it would be the line from the power steering pump, but I am not sure. I would like some guidance.

Click on the link below for a discription of how to reassemble that control valve.
The extra fitting mentioned there is the return port.

It appears that it is a three cylinder, but you should specify that because it could be a four cylinder and it could be a row crop model which has a completely different steering system.
