Ford 2000 Question

fuseblower

Doesc anyone know the approx distance between the ground and the lift rear arm when the 3 point hitch is all the way down.?? Tractor is a Ford 2000 3 cyl 1972 model.

Isn’t this adjustable with the screw arms on the side? What are you attempting?
I am trying to determine how low the arms are supposed to go down. Mine are almost at the end of the adjustment (bottom of the shaft) any more and the shaft will pull out. It seems like the arms on the axle end need to go lower to give me some adjustment but that is not possible.

I have a Lucknow Snowblower attached to the 3 point hitch and am having a problem levelling it because of lack of adjustment. The blower has not been modified and my lift arms look original. Also my tire size is original.

Well dads is the old style 2000 4 cylinder I don’t think they share much but I’ll go look at the adjustment next time I’m at the farm

Wrong tractor ....but you can compare. 8N lowered is 8 1/2 inches. 34 1/4 raised.

Are your adjustable links in the rear or forward holes in the lift arms. The forward ones will allow it to go lower.

All the different 3 cylinder models we have with the cranks set middle ways or higher will lower the ends down to 4-6” from the ground
If I lengthen them they will get to Aron’s 2” or less

8 inches is what it is to the center of the ball pivot where the pin goes through
