I have a Ford 2000, 3 cylinder gas tractor. When i started it needed to be fully choked for a few minutes otherwise it would die. then one day it would only run with fully choked, after about 5-8 minutes of running it would still die if i released the choke. now it will not fire up at all. checked the carb, and it looks clean, fuel pump is pumping.

any help would be really appreciated.
thanks

We don't operate on hunches here. We operate on observations and we verify things as we go.
Always, always check for spark first. Requires no tools to pull a plug wire and look to see if you have a bright bluish white spark that will jump a good 1/4 inch.
See photo below of a good spark on that same tractor.
If you do have good spark then go on to fuel.
There are no less than 4 filters on that gasser.
First one is in the shutoff valve in the bottom of the tank. Next one is in the top of the fuel pump behind the radiator. Another one is in the sediment bowl behind the carburator. And lastly there is sometimes one in the brass fitting where the fuel line screws into the carb.
You could check the first three all at once by disconnecting the line between the sediment bowl and carb then turn the engine over. You should see a good spurt there.
If you have fuel there then likely you have problems at the carb itself.
Verify your spark and fuel flow and post back. The help is here on this board if you are willing to follow instruction and do the wrenching.

Thanks for the comments. I took your recommendations, it does have spark, carb looks clean. All filters are clean and fuel is moving, but really slow, so perhaps a vacuum in the line or fuel pump too weak.
