Ford 2110 LCG

Does anyone have a LCG tractor running single 8.3x24 ags? I need new rear tires and currently it has 11.2's which I know aren't a stock size for LCG's. I'm wondering if the 8.3's will have adequate traction as singles, the 11.2's do, but the tractor is faster than I'd like, even in 1st. (8 speed).

I have a 1970 2110LCG but running dualie ag tires of that size. They used to be turf tires but they were twice the price so I ended up with the gas. I have no traction issues but they are dualies. I also have a 1974 2110 LCG that has 12.4-28’s but that is my snow plow tractor. Has double ring chains on it and no traction issues and the speed is ok for what I use it for. I am aware that they are the wrong tires for it but that’s how I got it. HTH. Steve

I have 2110 LCG, I put 13.6 x 28" ag tires on the rear and got a pair of the higher dog-legs for the front axles with 6:50 x 16" tires. I also took the fender skins off of the lower fender mounts and put the skins on a pair of the higher fender mounts. The way I use this tractor, I don't care if the ground speed is higher. I do like the tractor.

Of my 7 tractors my 2110 is my "worker" as it handles, steers, & is easiest to get on! (My old knees appreciate it!)
