I have a ford 2100 tractor that I was bush hogging with and the engine looked up. Took head off to check for
piston or sleeve scoring and they looked ok . Pulled pan off and found balancer was looked up damaging the
balancer drive gear and idler damaged. Parts are hard to find so I am wondering what would happen if I left
the balancer out and reassembled the engine. Does anyone have any experience with this or thoughts on this?
