Where could i find a picture and information of a 2110 compact tractor. I need to confirm what I have and get information about this.

Go to google.com, look in upper left hand corner of the page, click on the word "images". Now type in Ford 2110. You"ll see that there are two different types of 2110; the older (approx. 1965-1975) industrial low-profile 3-cyl. American-built gas or diesel 2110 and the newer (approx. 1983-1986) Japanese-built 2110 4-cyl. diesel.

The Ford compacts have a tag under the left floor board on the transmission housing as well as the numbers stamped into the housing near the tag.

even the older ones didn't?

why did ford discontinue that good location on the compacts? it was a pretty convient palce to get info. i know they continue dit on the large machines till at least 2000.

When they outsourced the tractors, they conformed to the vendor's methodology, I suppose. If it isn't a Ford design, there are no hand stampings on the clutch housing.

ouch... seems like they lost a good thing when they quit putting that info on the bellhousing...
