I recently bought a '47 2N and these brackets were mounted to the lift arms. Never saw these kind of brackets before. Anyone know what they are? They are cast and they have the numbers TS1, TS2, and TS3 cast in them. Thanks!

What with all the Fords and Fergusons we had we never had anything like that around. So cant help you with that.

We used them on a Ferggie TO-30 years ago. They were attached to the lift arms and there were rods that went to the front of the tractor to lift up a sweep rake for picking up loose hay. I guess they could be used to raise a snowplow as well.

bigr, They sure look like what's missing on a Ford brand snowplow I just removed from a 9N. The cables to lift the plow frame have a loop on the end of the cable with a clevis. The bolt going through the clevis is very small compared to the lift arm swivel ball ends, (maybe 3/8 or 7/16 without going out to look at it) and if they clamp to the arms, they would be adjutable to mount so they pull straight up over the snowplow frame mounted pulleys. Any one have pics of a Ford front mounted plow set up? I've only found the more common Dearborn and other aftermarket pictures. I was going to just make bushings for the clevis bolt to increase the diameter of the clevis bolt to fit the arm ends. I think a piece like that would be the ticket.
