Ford 2n with jumpy 3point

Hi, I have acquired a 2n and am having a problem with the 3 point lift. I have replaced the hydraulic cyl and installed the NAA piston. When the 3 point is raised to the top of its travel it jumps up and down sort of like a surge. I also need to mention this was a problem before my lift cover R&R. Not sure what to make of it and hoping someone could help me shed some light on the cause and possible fixes. The hydraulic oil is new and at the correct level. Thanks....Bryan

I am by no means the hydraulic guru, but does it do
this while it is lifting or only when at the top of travel?
With load, without or both?

I have 2 8n's and one of them does the same thing when it is all the way up, Its especially fun when the sauder snow plow is attached because it makes the front of the tractor bounce up and down :lol:

Royse, It only does this when the 3pt. is at the top of the travel and weather it has a load on it or not....Thanks.....Bryan
