Ford 3000 FEL Question

I have a Ford 3000 with a Ford FEL the pump runs off the front of the engine. It's similar to the one I have linked to except yellow. It's slow on lifting now and starting to growl at me so I'm sure it needs fluid. Where to put it though? The upright column to the drivers left side has a nut and cap on top, would this be the resevoir? Aprox. how much would the system hold?

Thats the resivour. Should be dipstick on plug if not 8 to 10 inch from top is full. There is a filter in bottom plate held on with 4 bolts.
