Ford 3000 Hydraulics

Could you tell me where to check the hydraulic fluid level on a 1966 Ford 3000. Getting a jerky motion with implement on the back.

Should be a small pipe plug on the housing by your right heel.

Some of the earlier ones had a hex head bolt so it's hard to tell it from other bolts in that area. Loosening some of the other bolts in that area may result in things coming loose inside the center housing, which would require pulling the top cover to remedy.

I'm not sure exactly when they changed it, but the later ones had a square head pipe plug so you could find it easier.
