The lift will not pick up the bushhog. I put a new piston, & rings in the cylinder and new o-rings on the lift cover. This made only a little difference.I put a pressure gage on the pump and when I raise the lift lever it reads up to 1000 and drops to 600, back and forth. What do I do now ? Help -- Thanks

A couple of yeas ago i was trying to diagnose a similar pump problem. I called the dealer to check availability of a new PRV. They didn't stock them. He asked what was wrong with mine and said they never go bad. Then he checked in his database and told me he hadn't sold one in at least 9 years since they upgraded their software.
Moral of the story:
It's not impossible but unlikely that the prv on a 3 cyl is bad.
The problem with mine was the pump. I replaced it with a spare I had and all is well since.
