Ford 3000 Parts Needed

Hello all. For those that didn't see my pic post, I have a 1967 Ford 3000 diesel 8 speed, Basildon England build.

I had posted about the 3 point levelling box seized up and I can't turn crank. I got lots of good advice on how to try and unseize it.

But think I will order a new one from Yesterday's Tractor if this is the right one. I want to make sure because shipping and border fees to Canada are not cheap.

Is this the one I need?

And does it come as pictured with the fork?

Here is what I have. I measured it at 22 inches pin to pin and it appears to be wound right in.

I also need a gasket and o-ring kit for where my rear remote is mounted on the transmission top cover.
The top cover doesn't appear to be leaking, but it is leaking at the rear remote valve and through all of the bolts.

But I want to check or replace the filters anyway, so I need to get the full seal kit.

And lastly, I have new Cat 1 and 2 balls for the hitch arms but they fall out when they rotate to that point. What am I missing here?

Someone told my there is some kind of spring pin that goes on the arms?

Thanks.

Man, maybe its just me, but I wouldnt give up on freeing
up the leveling box that you have. Take the whole linkage
off the tractor, and put it in a vice is the box seized or
are the threads seized? Oil (and maybe heat)
accordingly, and work back and forth. I had one that took
an hour or two of this, then freed up, and works fine.
Good luck!

I just freed up mine the other day, it wasn't a big deal. Just remove and soak PB blaster or similar from both ends, rap on it with a hammer a bit and then use a pipe wrench to wiggle it back and forth until it frees up and you can fully unscrew. Then clean and grease and reassemble.

In my case someone has lost the zerk on the screw side of it and wallowed the hole so while apart I drilled it out and retapped to 1/8 NPT and installed a new zerk.

Certainly not worth buying a new one to avoid a half hour of work.

I have found that this application has a special oring and anything other than the ford oring will cause seepage for the hydraulic aux valves. It might even be a square cut oring.

for around 13 bucks for the kit that has the magic oring. Be careful when removing valve so you can clearly see which oring is where, so you can replace them one at a time and get it right!!!.

Here are some pics to help visualize what you are missing.
Turn the ball sideways to eject it. My left one lets loose for some reason, lost two balls that way, now I keep em in the box as another user suggested.

Wow! Thanks a lot everyone! This is extremely helpful. I appreciate it.

Maybe I will try and free up the levelling box first.

And the hydraulic leaks....the guy I bought it from said he just installed the rear remote, so who knows what he even put for o-rings if any? Hopefully that's all it is and not a warped deck or something.

I'll have to try and see if I can punch the broken pins out of my lift arms. But that is also what I am doing now....just leave the balls in the tool box when I have no implement on.

Thanks for the pic. I was wondering how those went in there.
