The only source for a new SOS PTO cable might be CNH. Some are still available but expensive.

Salvage yards, ebay and classifieds might yield a used one.

Need to know your model number, there were 4 different ones. Only one is still available from New Holland. Here's their list.

I have a new (NOS) C5NNA730S available if that's the one you need.

The model number of your tractor, 31024E, indicates that it is the general purpose agricultural chassis version of the 3000 series, which is called a "3100" in the parts book, so you would need part number C5NNA730U. While it's not the part number of the one that John Smith has available, it appears to be the only one that might still be available from a New Holland dealer.

This thread is from 2012, 14 years ago. And you are asking John Smith8N, who hasn't signed in since June of 2018, about a cable he had back in 2012; it is very doubtful he is going to answer you.
