Ford 3000 question about build information

I recently got a Ford 3000 tractor to use and from what I gathered here it is a British 1969 November build, however the tag under the hood is missing and I can only find 2 sets of numbers stamped on the sides of the tractor. I have included pictures of both sides. What I am wondering is what transmission and type of PTO, etc that I have. This will be my first tractor and I am trying to learn as much as I can.

Ok thanks. It is at my father in laws, where we are trying to fix it. I will check tomorrow. How do I decipher it. I know I had seen a list explaining it before, but I can not find that post now

9L06B is November 9 1969 during the day shift, and is most likely the assembly date of the transmission.

9L11 is November 11 1969 and is most likely the assembly date of the tractor.

B876942 is a serial number for a tractor made in the Basildon UK assembly plant that was made to be sold domestically in the UK.It appears to be in the right time frame for a 1969 domestic UK model.

The model number, which is in that rough part of the casting as Shaun has said, should start with the three characters C10 if it is a 3000. The next character tells you what type of engine it had when it left the factory, 1 is diesel and 2 is gas. The next character is the type of PTO, with 1 being no PTO, 2 being trans driven (non-live) PTO, 3 being live PTO, 4 being independent 540 rpm PTO, and 5 being dual speed 540/1000 rpm PTO. The last character tells you which transmission it has, with 1 being a 4 speed manual, B being a 6 speed manual, C being the 8 speed manual and E being the Select-O-Seed 10 speed powershift transmission.

Thank you everyone for all your help, the numbers are very faint but it looks like they are C1013B. So I have a 3000 diesel with live PTO and 6 speed manual. I need to replace the rear tire on the right side and find the hydraulic leak. I think the seal on the pump blew out and the 3 point lift is not working. But other than that everything else seems good. For a tractor that has sat up for between 4 to 6 years.

I guessed it was a B, the others I could make out. Here is the best picture I could get.

If that last letter is a B it should have a 6 spd trans, but I didn’t think the 6 spd was available with live pto, maybe I’m wrong.
you were correct, I got back to the tractor today and it has 4 gears in high and low, plus reverse. So it is an 8 speed with live PTO. The letter must be a C. As I stated I do not know much about tractors and with the tire being bad, I have not got to drive it except onto and off the trailer to get it to my father in laws shop. thank all of you again for your help so far.

Last is C for a full sequence of C1013C as would be expected. Below is an edit showing visible outline of last C in red.

One more question, I need to repair the hydraulic pump leak, but I also need to check the tractor fluids. I found through the help of this site both plugs that I need to open for the transmission and the 3point lift fluid( one by my right heel and the other below the shifter on the right side) but both of these have been rounded off. Where can I purchase news ones? I looked in the parts section here and could not find them.

They are both 1/4" - 18 NPT pipe plugs. You should be able to find them at any hardware store. The New Holland part number is 87709S2 for a single plug, and you should be able to get them at any New Holland dealer for just under $1. The part number for a 10 pack is 9617020 and the price is listed as @2.10. The current version that new Holland sells have a recessed hex allen head, while the originals had a protruding square head.
