Been looking at this 69 3000 for a few mo.,,,I spec the economy B'N what it is no one will buy it. It runs out good and not beat up 2 bad. So I know it had my name on it and gave it a nice new home at my place today :D The last deal on a 3000 I did not buy but sold it for the owner for 2k more than he was asking for it,,, i got a $100 tip  The PTO will not release with the clutch, has a small P/S leak at a new hose on the right cylinder, the quadrant guide has broken loose form the fixture its (looks like rivets) attached to. The 3 point would not work for the first few min then it went to work'n and has worked OK since. The 3 point worked OK the first time i looked at it so dunno will wait it out.

gotta git me some repair manuals Whats the best,,, It will need new rear rims whats the original size it has 13.6 x 28 on it now (tires in good condition)... I have some 12.4 x 28 rims and tires off a 600 junker in good condition so i figger they will swap out

Right on Hobo. You got one!
I know you've been looking.
Not a bad looking tractor. Needs a little tlc but wth. Looks like you got all the creampuff stuff on it too. Next to LH and PS, diff lock is my favorite.
Gonna just run down the list here...
PS cylinders normally have steel lines not hose.
Available from NH but pricey. You'll be at NH more than Don Barkley's. Buy a 7/16" brake line wrench if you don't already have one to get the inverted flare fittings on the cyls tight.
Mine has hoses too.
Right inspection cover has a flow control for the speed of the hyds. You'll never use it.
Ford made a couple of different styles of hydraulic lines running from the pump to the center housing. Both used seals on both ends. Check to insure both ends of the suction line are tight. 3 point might have had a burp. There is a bleeder screw on the side of the pump.
About a 3/8" allen.
Told you before that clutch is expensive.
Had one doing the same thing. Wouldn't engage without grinding.
I adjusted it as per the book and after 3 hrs of brush mowing it quit spinning at all. So there you go. And I aint fixed it yet.
3000 came factory with 13.6 28 on 12" rims.
Only book I ever had was the FO-31.
I think you bought a great tractor.
I love these 3 hole Fords. They'll never replace an N. But they'll sure out work one.
Oh, I don't think they came with a planter that hooks onto the side. So you'll probably need to keep that A.
Good luck with it.

Thanks shaun wallace and U/dog,,, for now I don't need the PTO,,, it has some neat chit (cream puff stuff ) so i spec i can quit look'n for a MF 135  BUT does it need a over run'n PTO clutch if i chose to not do any thang bout the clutch releasing the PTO for now tho I don't have plans to run the hog :?: Best I remember the hog did not push the tractor when the clutch was depressed....Next step is to service it,,, spec I need to run 134D in the hydraulics and trans,,, no problem with it in the differential here, what y'all run :?: I will git ya a pix of that little P/S hose, mite git lucky and all it needs is a wrench put on it,,, you know I have a line wranch 8) BTW U/Dog thats a 100 I have and its bed buddy is a 140,,, I would not trade the 100 for 2 3000's YET :!: The 3000 is sleep'n with a 600 and 3 8n's till it gits use to the place,,, the farmalls have their own shed to sleep under,,, I am not much for this integrating chit

The hydraulics and differential are the same reservior, unlike your older Fords. Go ahead and park the 3000 with the IH's. They can use a good influence.
